  EP Series

Enterprise Pharmacology (EP) Series enterprise software system for centralized GLP-compliant management, analysis, simulation and reporting of PK/PD data in drug development.

Thermo Electron Corporation’s EP Series and Kinetica are analytical tools designed specifically for pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) research in drug development. EP is an application framework composed of an underlying database that interacts with a set of modules to rapidly integrate, analyze and report PK/PD data. EP’s framework uses a regulatory-compliant user security and data-auditing layer, providing unparalleled data management and analysis within a secure database environment. EP comes installed with the latest version of Kinetica software, and supports other third-party tools such as SAS, Nonmem and WinNonlin.

Advantages of EP Series

  • Highly configurable architecture based around a centralized Oracle database, managing any standard or multidimensional study structure. Stores raw data and computed parameters, and includes all analytical methods and user-defined options

  • Monitors, logs and controls components of the system via compliant Application Programming Interface

  • Customizable import and export modules and adaptable database-linking technology for interface with other corporate systems

  • Data-mining tool for cross-study exploration and management of data stored in centralized databases

  • Includes Kinetica, Thermo’s comprehensive PK/PD analysis tool with an intuitive user interface that allows scientists to perform a variety of analysis – from non-compartmental to population PK/PD – within a consistent, industry standard environment
